Matthew Criscuolo

Matt “Crisco” Criscuolo began his drum studies when he was 14 years old under the tutelage of jazz greats Bob Gullotti and Matt Wilson. He has been teaching drums since he enrolled at UMass in 2010. It was there that he studied Jazz & African American music under Thomas Giampietro. In 2018, he began teaching at a school in Holyoke where he developed a curriculum that works for all levels of students. When not teaching or on the road with national touring band Bella’s Bartok, Crisco works closely with his students to help them reach their goals and find a passion for music.
