Glenn Pettit

Glenn Pettit has been a part of numerous music and literary scenes for over thirty years. He was born and raised near NYC, lived and performed in the Metro-Boston area for over twenty-five years, and currently lives in Easthampton MA. His performing credits include appearances at diverse venues across North America, including New York City’s Sidewalk Café and CBGB, Cambridge’s The Middle East Café and Nameless Coffeehouse, Easthampton’s Luthier’s Co-op, the WLIJ AM1580 Saturday Jamboree in Bell Buckle, TN, along with countless other clubs, roadhouses, cellars, galleries, and schools. Glenn has shared the stage with such disparate luminaries as the late Blues guitarist (and Jorma Kaukonen mentor) Ian Buchanan, singer-songwriters Dar Williams, Kevin So, and David Massengill, and contemporary Blues personalities Little Toby Walker and Louisiana Red.

In addition to his work as a respected private teacher and ensemble coach for the past ten years in the Springfield area, Glenn has produced blues history workshops for schools and libraries. Glenn is excited to continue this work, having recently returned to Massachusetts after having spent the last few years performing in Nashville, TN. Glenn’s hope for the future is to “put all the wrong notes in all the right places.”
