Michelle Prindle

Michelle Prindle is an active soprano with a Bachelor of Music degree in classical vocal performance from The Hartt School. She pursued advanced post-graduate vocal studies in New York; Salzburg, Austria; and Florence, Italy. Her special area of interest is vocal health and adolescent vocal development. Opera credits: Carmen (Frasquita), L’elisir d’amore (Giannetta), The Magic Flute (Second Lady); Falstaff (Nannetta, partial role), Le Nozze di Figaro (Countess, partial role).  Music Theater: Hello, Dolly! (Minnie Fay), Fiddler on the Roof (Tzeitel), My Fair Lady (maid, Eliza u/s); ensemble: Carousel, The Music Man, Sweeney Todd. Concert work: Faure Requiem (soprano soloist, Mastet Singers of Worcester); Mozart Requiem (Second Soprano soloist, Heidelberg, Germany); Haydn’s Missa brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo (soprano soloist, Manchester, CT). Michelle has taught private voice and piano lessons for more than 20 years. Her students have been admitted to competitive voice and musical theater programs, including Wagner College and the Conservatory at Shenandoah University, and have been accepted to the Eastern Regional and All-State Music Festivals in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts district select chorus. She is currently the music teacher at Montessori School of Northampton and maintains a private studio at The Prindle School.
