Ava D’Agostino is a Rochester, New York native who is currently working to receive her masters in vocal performance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst while working as a TA in Aural Skills. She received a Bachelors of Music degree in education in 2015 from SUNY Fredonia and is a New York-Certified K-12 music teacher. Before moving to western Massachusetts, she held several long-term substitute positions teaching chorus and music theory (grades 6-12) while also staying active in the Rochester music community.
Ava enjoys performing, but holds a special place in her heart for education and the importance of music in peoples lives–young and old. She has a true passion for connecting with her students and cultivating a comfortable, focused and stress-free environment to make music to the best of their ability.
