Caroline Lee

Mezzo-soprano Caroline Lee recently completed her Bachelor of Music in vocal performance at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and will be student teaching in the fall to obtain her second degree in Music Education. Her recent operatic roles include Truman Capote (The Scarlet Professor), Sorceress (Dido and Aeneas), Carmen (Carmen), and Squirrel/Mother (L’enfant et les sortilèges). Caroline currently studies with distinguished soprano Jamie-Rose Guarrine, and has previously studied with Marjorie Melnick and Melinda Beasi. Caroline aims to give her students a foundation in technique and theory, while maintaining the excitement for learning and performing music.
