Jake Goldstein

Jake Goldstein began playing trumpet in elementary school and started piano shortly after that. He went on to earn his bachelors degree in music from Franklin Pierce University and after college began teaching music privately. When Jake was in his mid 20’s, he began learning the guitar and began teaching the ukulele. Over the years, Jake has taught a wide range of students from elementary school beginners to senior citizens and everything in between. In addition to teaching music, Jake has experience working in different school systems and working with adults with disabilities, and he currently works for Berkshire Hills Music Academy in South Hadley, Ma.

Whenever Jake is not teaching, he can be found gigging around western mass at clubs, restaurants, and open mic nights on his guitar and ukulele. Before the pandemic, Jake was hosting a open mic at The Hawks and Reeds Performing Arts Center in Greenfield. He plays a wide variety of styles when performing including jazz, folk, country, classic rock, and rock and roll performing as “Jukebox Jake”.
