  • Please review the following language from the contract you completed at the time of registration:

“You may discontinue your lessons at the end of any session. Just give us notice that you wish to discontinue your lessons 21 days (or more) prior to the end of any session and we will cancel your enrollment effective at the end of that session. Our faculty are highly trained professional musicians with degrees in music, and our pricing is the most reasonable pricing of any institution of our kind in the Pioneer Valley. In order to keep our pricing reasonable and to guarantee that our faculty are available to teach your lesson each week, we must guarantee payment to our teachers regardless of student attendance. As a result, it is our policy that you must pay for all of the lessons in the session regardless of attendance.”

You will receive an email from us prior to the end of each session offering you an opportunity to either continue your lessons or withdraw from lessons. That email will contain a link to a form where you can let us know your preferences for the upcoming session. If it is the middle of a session and you are experiencing a hardship and are unable to continue your lessons, you may request an early withdrawal using the form available at this link: www.theprindleschool.com/cancel.

  • Below are the complete terms and conditions contained in our online registration form. All current students have agreed to these terms and conditions at the time of registration.

    LENGTH OF COMMITMENT

Students commit to attending weekly lessons (except for holidays) for a complete session. We have three sessions:

-Fall Session: 20 lessons from late August through January

-Spring Session: 20 lessons from February through June

-Summer Session: 8 lessons in July and August

You may begin lessons AT ANY TIME during a session, and commit only to the remainder of the session that is in progress. We will pro-rate your billing accordingly so that you are not charged for any lessons that have already passed. For our complete lesson calendar with session dates and holidays, click here. Please visit www.theprindleschool.com/calendar for complete details.

    WITIHDRAWAL

The student is required to pay for the entire session in full, regardless of attendance.

Students may discontinue lessons at the end of any session. Just give us notice that you wish to discontinue your lessons 21 days (or more) prior to the end of any session and we will cancel your enrollment effective at the end of that session.

Students may request withdrawal from their lessons by completing the form available at this link: www.theprindleschool.com/cancel. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to grant requests for early withdrawal except in extenuating circumstances.

    FIRST-LESSON GUARANTEE

For any reason, you may cancel your commitment to ongoing lessons any time within 48 hours after your first lesson. To cancel, simply visit www.theprindleschool.com/cancel. Or, contact info@theprindleschool.com with any questions. If you cancel within 48 hours of the first lesson, the registration fee and insurance are fully refundable. The cost of the lesson is not refundable.

    PRICING

For your convenience, we have established a consistent monthly payment amount for your lessons. You will always be billed for four lessons at a time on a monthly basis. For the Fall and Spring Sessions, there will be five monthly invoices. The Summer Session, there will be two monthly invoices. Please visit www.theprindleschool.com/pricing for complete details.

    BILLING

Monthly lesson payments are due on the 16th day of each month. You will receive an email invoice for your monthly payment one week prior to the start of the month. Your invoice can be paid directly from that email, or you can bring your payment to the school. We accept cash, check, credit card, bank transfer, and paypal. Late payments will incur a $10 late fee. For your convenience, we also offer an autopay option that you can set up at any time by calling us at 844-929-1909.

    ATTENDANCE

It’s important to come to lessons regularly. You cannot improve if you do not come to lessons. In addition, when you register for lessons, you are saying to your teacher, “Please make yourself available at this time each week to teach my lesson.” It’s not fair to also say, “But I don’t want to come each week and I expect not to have to pay if I don’t come.”

    STUDENT CANCELLATIONS OF INDIVIDUAL LESSONS

Our faculty are highly trained professional musicians with degrees in music, and our pricing is the most reasonable pricing of any institution of our kind in the Pioneer Valley. In order to keep our pricing reasonable and to guarantee that our faculty are available to teach your lesson each week, we must guarantee payment to our teachers regardless of student attendance. As a result, it is our policy that you must pay for all of the lessons in the session regardless of attendance.

Having said that, we try to be as accommodating as is reasonably possible. If you do need to occasionally cancel a lesson with advance notice, we will gladly consult with your teacher to see if we can find a way to reschedule your lesson. However, this sort of rescheduling is entirely at the teacher’s discretion. Unfortunately, we will not be able to reschedule any lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.

To request a change to your lesson time, visit www.theprindleschool.com/change. You can use this link for permanent changes or changes of a single lesson.

    SCHOOL CANCELLATIONS OF INDIVIDUAL LESSONS

If we cancel your lesson for any reason other than weather, we will gladly reschedule the lesson or credit your account for the amount of the lessons, whichever you prefer.

    WEATHER CANCELLATION OF INDIVIDUAL LESSONS

In the event of a weather-related closing of the school, you will be notified by email of the closing. Whenever possible, lessons will be held online. If that is not possible, we will get in touch with you directly to offer options for making up your lesson. We are unable to issue credits for weather-related closings.
