Heidi McLaughlin

Soprano Heidi McLaughlin brings a strong foundation in classical technique and a passion for vocal health. She began singing and performing at a young age, studied voice at Baltimore School for the Arts, and recently graduated from Washington & Lee University with a Bachelor of Science in Vocal Performance.

Heidi has performed roles such as Giannetta in L’elisir d’amore and Dido in Dido and Aeneas, and has trained in prestigious programs including the Washington National Opera Institute and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. While at Washington & Lee, she was honored as the first vocalist to win the school’s Concerto-Aria competition.

Heidi’s teaching is grounded in cultivating a safe and encouraging space for students to make mistakes and grow vocally. She helps students of all ages and backgrounds to build confidence, healthy vocal habits, and musical literacy. Whether you’re looking to develop foundational technique, grow in expression, or just want to sing, Heidi looks forward to helping you reach your individual musical goals.
