Aedan Madden

Aedan Madden is a saxophonist and educator based in Western Massachusetts. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies and Saxophone Performance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has performed with various ensembles around New England, including the Amherst Jazz Orchestra, Vermont Jazz Center Big Band, Berkshire Big Band, and the AmCo Quartet. Aedan teaches saxophone at Deerfield Academy and is a music instructor at the Academy at Charlemont. He has led composition and instrument skills workshops for inmates at Worcester County Jail and House of Corrections through his work with OpporTUNEity Music. Aedan directs the Middle School Wind Ensemble at the Hartsbrook School and teaches private saxophone lessons.
