Vickie Chen
Vickie Chen earned her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating summa cum laude. She continued her musical studies at Boston University, where she received a scholarship and completed a Master of Music degree in piano performance.
With over 15 years of teaching experience, Vickie has worked with students of all ages and skill levels. Prior to joining The Prindle School, she taught private piano lessons at the Agassiz Baldwin Community Center in Cambridge, Boston, where she also guided students in preparing for regular performance opportunities. Her teaching philosophy centers on building a strong musical foundation and nurturing a lifelong love for music and piano playing.
In addition to teaching, Vickie is an experienced accompanist, having worked with various choirs and churches. She currently serves as the music and choir director at a local church in Amherst.
