Zoey Bushey

Zoey loves helping people learn. She believes playing music is an innate quality everyone has the potential for, and that the teacher's role is aiding and guiding the student's journey of self-discovery. She priorities individualized and flexible instruction, with a focus on developing skills for self directed learning beyond the lesson. She aims to cultivate in her students a lifelong love of music. 

She is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger. And among having over a decade of performance experience, she also has a plethora of teaching experience, having worked with students of all ages, both in individual lessons and in the classroom.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from University of the Pacific in 2021, and will be graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Master of Music in 2026.
